When I worked as a decalmaker, I always worried that the punch press would slip and crush my arms underneath. At the time I asked my first aid instructor, a Vietnam-era medic, "would I fo into shock and pass out?" His answer no. Shucks, I really didn't like the idea of staring at arms stumps after an accident.
